Adult Tee (Sade)

Helen Folasade Adu CBE, (Sade) is an English singer/songwriter who began her career as a back up singer for a band named Pride. Her music was my mainstay during my high school and college years. In part I learned independence from her example; she left and formed the band Sade in 1982. Her album, Diamond Life, (1984) sold over six million copies, becoming one of the top-selling debut albums of the 1980's.
